Clear next steps, local context

We help workshops choose fibre systems around their real material, duty cycle and service needs, and we cut or mark your own sample parts before you decide.

Meet the team

Cutting and marking systems for South African production

FibreLaser SA supplies the full range of fibre laser systems: from high-speed sheet and tube cutting to deep and micro-marking. Our team at Sunnyrock, Germiston, supports fabrication shops, signage makers, toolrooms, mining maintenance, electronics and medical production across the country.

You can see our systems in action at our Sunnyrock head office and at appointment-only bays in Roodepoort, Randburg, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein and Mbombela. We handle supply, installation, training and practical support, so your team can stay productive and safe.

How a FibreLaser SA system purchase works

Every new system starts with a sample part or marking test, run by our applications team on your own material. You get clear feedback on process, finish and any site requirements before you commit.

Once the order is placed, we install the machine at your site, connect extraction and cooling, and train your operators on real production jobs. All our systems are supported by local technicians, so you are never left guessing if you need new settings or service.

  • Sample part run on your own material
  • Site readiness check and safety review
  • Professional installation and operator training
  • Ongoing support from our local team

Fibre laser advantages over older CO2 technology

Fibre lasers cut and mark metals more efficiently than older CO2 machines. They are well suited to stainless, mild steel, aluminium and even copper, with less maintenance and much lower running costs.

The result is cleaner, faster work on a wider range of parts, with better repeatability for production jobs.

Safety, compliance and getting started

Laser cutting and marking systems are Class 4 under safety regulations: the beam is invisible, can reflect off shiny surfaces, and can cause permanent injury if not handled with care. All Class 4 lasers in South Africa require a SAHPRA site licence, and your installation must have a Certificate of Compliance for the electrical supply.

We help you set up local exhaust extraction for fume removal, select the correct eyewear, and prepare your team for safe operation. To get started with a new system or book a live demo, simply send us a message through our contact form and our team will be in touch to discuss your application.
