Privacy notice
We respect your privacy and handle your information with care. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how we protect your data under POPIA.
What information we collect and why
When you send us a message using our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and optional delivery address. You may also send us drawings, photos, or details about your application or materials.
We use this information to answer your queries, provide quotations, arrange demonstrations, process orders, install systems, and organise training or support. Your contact details help us respond to your request, and drawings or sample files let us advise you accurately about laser cutting or marking solutions.
How we use and share your information
Your personal information is accessed only by relevant staff and technical partners who need it to deliver equipment, schedule installations, service machines, or provide support. If delivery or on-site work is needed, we may give your address and contact details to our courier, installer, or service technician for that purpose.
We never share your personal data with marketers, unrelated third parties, or for bulk mailing. Sample drawings, photos, and customer parts are kept confidential and are never published or shown to others without your written consent.
How we store and protect your information
We keep your enquiry records, drawings, and related documents securely for as long as needed to handle your request, deliver your system, or provide after-sales support. Old records that are no longer relevant are deleted or securely destroyed.
All customer data is stored using electronic and physical safeguards. Our team is trained to treat your information as confidential. We comply with the POPIA and take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
Your rights and how to contact us
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, you have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, request corrections, have your information deleted, or object to its use. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator if you believe your privacy rights have not been upheld.
To exercise your rights or raise a concern, please send us a message using our contact form or visit our head office at 2 Makro Place, Sunnyrock, Germiston 1401. If you use the Ask AI or WhatsApp chat buttons on our pages, please note these are third-party services with their own privacy practices.
