Terms of use and sale
FibreLaser SA provides information and systems for professional use in South African workshops. Please read these terms before requesting a quote or order.
Guidance and responsibilities
All application notes, training and advice from FibreLaser SA offer general guidance for South African workshops using fibre laser cutting and marking systems. These notes do not replace the official manufacturer's manual, a qualified laser safety officer, your SAHPRA licence requirements or electrical regulations.
Workshop owners and operators remain responsible for following the manufacturer's instructions, complying with legal requirements, ensuring proper site preparation, and training authorised users. If in doubt, consult a relevant registered professional or safety officer before operating any fibre laser equipment.

- Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC) is required

Warranty and liability
FibreLaser SA’s warranty terms cover defects in materials or workmanship, in line with South African consumer law where it applies. For juristic buyers with assets or turnover of R2 million or more, the Consumer Protection Act does not apply. Warranty does not cover damage from incorrect use, unauthorised modifications or failure to follow safety instructions.
Sample results shown or discussed are for reference only. Actual cutting and marking outcomes depend on your specific material, settings, maintenance and environment. Our liability is limited to the value of goods supplied and does not extend to consequential loss, production downtime or secondary damage.
Legal compliance and governing law
Fibre laser systems are regulated under South African law, including the OHS Act, Hazardous Substances Act, Driven Machinery Regulations and other health and safety requirements. It is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain and maintain all necessary site licences and comply with legal obligations for the safe use of laser equipment.
