Mark Pro 30 suits mixed serial and logo jobs

Mark Pro 30 delivers sharp, durable fibre laser marks for serial numbers, logos and part IDs on steel, stainless and similar metals. Its 200 × 200 mm class work area fits most job-shop and fabrication part sizes, from flat tags to round tools and fittings.

The system is well matched to small-batch and one-off marking, as well as batches that need repeatable quality. Flat and rotary fixture kits come standard, switching easily between faces, pipes or shafts. Whether you need a crisp logo on a stainless cover or a deep identification mark before powder coating, this cell handles the job.

Performance and workflow on your floor

The 30W fibre source in Mark Pro 30 is tuned for marking steel, stainless and coated metals. Most batch jobs are completed in a few minutes, and recipe-based settings make it simple to repeat results, with clear options for annealing, deep engraving or ablation.

Rotation and flat work are handled by dedicated fixtures, so you can move from serialising bushings to labelling flat plates without complex changeovers. Mixed runs are straightforward: store recipes for different customers or materials and call them up as needed. The 200 × 200 mm window gives you room for larger items or multiple parts in one setup.

When to choose Mark Pro 30 over our other cells

Mark Pro 30 is the right fit if your marking work covers mixed metals, requires strong, wear-resistant marks, or often switches between flat and round pieces. It gives you the flexibility to take on job-shop work without the steep learning curve of a full production engraver or deep-cut cell.

If your shop needs to mark fine medical tools or electronics, the MicroMark Lab is better for micro-detail. For deep engraving on tool steel or die plates, EngraveFab 50 offers higher power. BeamDesk Mini is best for occasional small jobs or bench use, while DualHead Mark handles high-throughput or rotary-heavy work. Mark Pro 30 covers the broadest mix of regular serial, logo and part ID tasks.

Site setup, safety and compliance

Mark Pro 30 runs on a standard 230 V single-phase supply, so most workshops will not need new wiring. A basic fume extraction system with filtration is required, marking makes fine dust and metal fume, especially on galvanised or stainless steel.

This is an open-frame Class 4 system. Direct and reflected beams are hazardous to eyes and skin, so only trained, authorised operators must use the cell, and laser safety eyewear for 1064 to 1080 nm is compulsory. The marking head is licensed by SAHPRA Radiation Control, and your site needs a use licence for Class 4 lasers. The cell is air-cooled, so no chiller is needed, but keep the area clean and protect the optics from dust and oily residues.
