Field kit pack
The Field kit pack is a printable, shop-floor reference for FieldMark operators in mining, plant, or workshop asset marking jobs. Ask for the latest copy through our contact form.
Field kit pack purpose and users
The Field kit pack is designed for operators, maintenance leads, and field teams using the FieldMark Portable marking kit to mark assets or components on-site. It is especially useful in mining, plant maintenance, and repair settings where quick access to key safety and setup reminders is essential.
This sheet travels with the FieldMark kit in the pelican case or is pinned near the marking area. It offers a quick reference for correct rigging, site power checks, marking head setup, and asset tag formats, keeping everyone on the same page regardless of shift or site.
What the field kit pack covers and how to fill it in
The pack is a single-page reference with printed guidance and space for site-specific notes. Before the job starts, the operator or team lead fills in the header and any asset tag number ranges, power supply notes, gas cylinder status, and local contact numbers.
It includes tick boxes and short fill-in fields, designed for use with a permanent marker or ballpoint, not a pencil. Update the card for each new site or marking job. Replace it when the card is full, damaged, or out of date.
- Operator and site details
- Power supply and extension lead checks
- Strap and grounding reminders
- Asset tag number ranges for the job
- Assist gas and cylinder status
- Contact details for support and emergencies
Using the kit pack on the floor and what to do if issues show up
Keep the card at your marking bench, inside the FieldMark case, or attached to the main tool trolley. All operators and visitors should be able to find it quickly during a shift or a handover.
If the kit pack highlights a power, gas, or safety issue, like a missing earth strap, suspect extension lead, or a depleted assist gas cylinder, stop marking and notify your lead or supervisor. Note any exceptions or incidents on the back of the card, then send a photo or bring the card in to your next service or training session at Sunnyrock HQ or your nearest showroom bay.
