Common questions on training and support

Most workshop teams want to know what gets covered in our training sessions and how long you’ll need to set aside. We focus on real-world operation for each system, from daily start-up checks to running live jobs and handling the first article. For cut and mark systems, we cover machine safety, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, along with hands-on work on your actual parts or typical material.

If you’re bringing new operators or changing over a process, we suggest booking extra time for first-article reviews with Ms Kelebogile Nxumalo at Sunnyrock. We run training on our own machines at Sunnyrock HQ or, by appointment, at any of our showroom bays in Joburg, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein or Mbombela. We dont provide generic group classes, everything is tailored to your system and workflow.

What to send before we arrange fibre laser training

To get the best support or to arrange a training slot, please send us a message through our contact form. Giving the right detail upfront helps us prepare for your machines and site conditions. Include:

If possible, add a clear photo of your control console, marking fixture or workpiece setup. For cutting systems, a sample DXF or PDF of your part is helpful. Let us know if there’s a specific issue you’re seeing on your machine or if you need a first-article sign-off.

  • Your system name and serial number
  • City and preferred showroom location
  • Short summary of your question or issue
  • Photos of parts, fixtures or console

What to expect after you send a message

Our team will look at your message and get back to you with practical steps or a proposed slot for training or support. You might hear from Ms Kelebogile Nxumalo for first-article reviews, Mr Marnus Viljoen for cutting systems, or Ms Firdous Bassier for marking.

Where it does not apply, our team will still review your case and advise on the best route for repair or replacement. All support is handled in line with current safety and compliance rules.
