Spares and lenses

We supply spare lenses, nozzles, fixtures and optics for all FibreLaser SA systems. Support covers practical advice, returns and fitting guidance for South African workshops.

Answers to common questions about spares and lenses

Fibre laser cutting and marking heads rely on clean, undamaged optics and the correct spare parts. A cracked or dirty lens can cause poor cutting, weak marking, or even damage the cutting head. Nozzles influence your gas flow and cut quality: wrong type, wrong result.

The protective window under the head needs checking daily, especially in dusty Gauteng workshops. A damaged or clouded window affects both cut and lifetime of the more expensive focus lens. Always use spares rated for your exact model: using the wrong lens, nozzle or fixture can void your warranty and may create a safety hazard.

If you are changing over to a new material, or notice burn marks or edge defects, swapping out the nozzle or lens is often the quickest way to rule out a problem. We source only certified optics and nozzles suited for the South African climate and power supply.

What to send us for fast support on spares

To help you with the correct spare or return, we need a few clear details. This prevents delays and helps us match the right part or advice to your exact machine and use case.

Photos make a difference: a clear image of the affected head, lens or nozzle, and of your system's console, speeds up troubleshooting. If you have a first-article log or process sheet, include it for lens or fixture issues.

  • System name and serial number
  • City and nearest showroom (for collection or demo)
  • Photos of the part (lens, nozzle, fixture, or optics issue)
  • Photo of the console display (error or status if shown)
  • Short description of the issue or request
  • Any relevant first-article logs or settings

What happens after you submit a FibreLaser SA enquiry

Our support team reviews your details and may contact you for more information or to clarify the fault. If a returns or warranty check is needed, we follow the Consumer Protection Act where it applies, but for larger companies and juristic clients, contract terms will guide the process.

We confirm the best match for your part, and can arrange for collection at Sunnyrock HQ or your preferred showroom bay. Advice on fitting, cleaning or safe handling is given for each part. If service work is needed, we can schedule an appointment at Sunnyrock or organise on-site support where practical.
